Lizzo has shared a four-word reaction to Taylor Swift announcing her new upcoming single, I Knew It, I Knew You, which will feature in the Toy Story 5 soundtrack. The song is set to drop on Friday, June 5.

On June 2, Lizzo quoted Pop Base’s post sharing Taylor Swift’s new look for the single, and wrote:

“Coming to end me 😭”

The upcoming single marks Swift’s first new release since she dropped her album The Life of a Showgirl last October. The track will be available in three different versions: the original, a piano version, and an acoustic version. CD singles are already available for pre-order on the singer’s website.

Moreover, the single will mark Taylor Swift’s return to country music since 2012’s Red. The track was inspired by Jessie, the cowgirl character from the Toy Story franchise. The singer joined hands with her longtime collaborator, Jack Antonoff for the song, as they co-wrote and co-produced the track for the film.

Ahead of the official announcement, Swift’s involvement in the Toy Story franchise was teased through multiple billboards throughout cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Chicago, Dallas, Mexico City and London. The boards displayed the initials TS – denoting both the the singer’s name and the franchise’s name, in the popular Pixar font, teasing the single.

Pre-sales are open on Swift’s official website and the official song is set to release this Friday (June 5).

So much so that on first listen, it instantly felt like it had always belonged there, like a long-lost family member. It was kismet.”
